Singer and talk show host Charlotte Church has said that she doesn't want any extravagant presents for her 21st birthday today and that instead of partying she would be having a quiet day with her family and friends.
Church said: "For my birthday I've told my nan to get me jewellery, because she is addicted to QVC, and I want some hair tongs."
"My mum will probably get me things from her clothes shop, which is good because I've got a thing for shoes," she said.
When asked if she would like an engagement ring as a present, she said: "If Gavin gave me an engagement ring I'd say yes - probably - but it's really not a big deal."
"But I've told him not to go nuts with my birthday presents because then we start having to outdo each other, which is really time-consuming."
