Pop superstar Kylie Minogue has enlisted the help of an unknown Scottish songwriter for her next album.

Minogue came across Calvin Harris through his page on the MySpace social networking website.

The DJ/producer became an internet phenomenon with his debut single 'Acceptable In The 80s', which will be released by Sony BMG Music on 12 March.

A spokesman for Minogue said: "She has been working on some tracks with Calvin. Kylie heard stuff he'd done and liked it. Things are going well."

Harris will be touring the UK as support for dance act Faithless throughout March.
