Singer Alanis Morissette and actor Ryan Reynolds have announced that they have called off their engagement.
The couple, who had been dating for about four years, released a statement saying that the split was a mutual decision.
The statement said: "Ryan Reynolds and Alanis Morissette have mutually decided to end their engagement."
"They remain close friends and continue to have the utmost love and admiration for each other. They ask that their privacy be respected surrounding this personal matter."
