Singer Kylie Minogue and actor Olivier Martinez have confirmed reports that they have broken up after four years together.
A statement released by their representatives said: "Olivier Martinez and Kylie Minogue have officially confirmed that they are no longer a couple."
"They have made it clear that the decision to go their separate ways was mutual and amicable. The two remain very close friends."
The statement also said that both Minogue and Martinez were "saddened by false (media) accusations of disloyalty."
Recent media reports had suggested that Martinez was seen out with two women in Los Angeles last week, while Minogue was in the UK.
