In a bid to beat the touts, music fans are today able to register online for 2007 Glastonbury Festival tickets.

The online pre-registration form, which went live this morning at www.glastonburyregistration.co.uk, has already had thousands of applications.

People wanting to buy tickets for the legendary three-day event must include a passport-style photograph, along with their address and phone number when they register, which can be done at any point between 1 February and 28 February.

The highly sought-after tickets will go on sale on 1 April.

The Glastonbury Festival will take place at the Worthy Farm Site in Somerset on 22 June. The Who, Arctic Monkeys and Björk have already been confirmed on the bill.
