UK police have reportedly been handed further information that suggests Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty was the subject of racist abuse in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
According to British newspaper The Sun, notes scrawled on the back of a production running order for the Channel 4 show claim "some dodgy clips do exist."
Winner Shilpa Shetty was allegedly subjected to an extremely offensive racist remark in one incident, which was not aired.
The evidence was taken to the police by an anonymous tipster, the Sun claimed.
A Hertfordshire police spokeswoman confirmed they had been handed some further information, which they will look into as part of their continuing investigation but gave no details.
A Channel 4 spokeswoman said there was no evidence in their log of the offensive comment being used.
She said: "We have not been contacted by the police about this matter or seen a copy of the handwritten note that we understand has been passed to them."
