Coldplay are to work with legendary producer Brian Eno on their fourth album.
Billboard reports that Eno made the announcement during an interview on the BBC Radio 4 programme 'Front Row' on Friday.
Eno did not go into detail about the collaboration but said he felt the album would be "very original and very different from what they've done before".
Coldplay are set to debut new material during a series of Latin American live shows which begin in Santiago, Chile next month.
