'Countdown' star Carol Vorderman has split from her partner of five years, sports journalist Des Kelly.
Her spokesperson confirmed the split, saying: "It is an amicable parting and they remain very good friends."
The couple reportedly decided to end their relationship before Christmas.
Vorderman and Kelly met at a Christmas party in 1999 and began dating about two years later.
