Ben Stiller is to star in and direct a new comedy this summer called 'Tropic Thunder'.
Production Weekly says that the film follows a group of actors making a big-budget war film who become the commandos they are playing.
Stiller, who co-wrote the script, has been developing the film since he worked on 'Empire of the Sun' in 1987.
'Tropic Thunder' is due to begin shooting in July.
