Victoria Beckham is reportedly spending more than €75,000 on football-themed bedrooms for her three sons when they move to Los Angeles.

The former Spice Girl has apparently lined up Petit Tresor, a children's boutique which is a favourite with Hollywood stars, to custom-design the rooms, complete with soccer murals, beds, bean bags and desks.

The shop's co-owner, Samantha Winch, reportedly told entertainment news website TMZ.com: "The idea is to make you feel like you're in a soccer stadium like dad."

The site also reported that Victoria, who has been house-hunting in LA, spent €9,000 on treats for Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz and had them shipped to Britain.

Her purchases included a toy plane, Nordic Fairisle sweaters, a €300 red leather Hermes nappy bag and five colourful balls.

Meanwhile, fashion designer Giorgio Armani has weighed into the debate over David Beckham's  move to LA Galaxy in the summer. "I think he wants to be an actor, not a footballer," he said in Milan.
