Pop singer Kylie Minogue has been forced to cancel two concerts on her current tour because of a "moderately severe" respiratory tract infection.
The singer's management confirmed that doctors had advised her not to perform in the near future.
The cancelled shows were due to take place in Manchester as part of Minogue's resumed Showgirl tour, which was suspended when she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
It is hoped that the singer will be well enough to return to the stage by the end of this week, with her management saying that the two concerts would be rescheduled "at the earliest opportunity".
Minogue was forced to pull out half way through the second of her six scheduled concerts in Manchester on Saturday.
She told fans before the interval that she was suffering from a cold and didn't want to cancel the show because she had been looking forward to it for so long.
But half-way through the singer was forced to call a halt to the performance, apologising to fans for disappointing them.
