Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson are to play the lead roles in 'In Bruges', the new thriller from playwright and Oscar-winning short film director Martin McDonagh.
The film, McDonagh's feature debut, tells the story of two hitmen (Farrell and Gleeson) who are sent by their boss (Ralph Fiennes) on a break to Bruges, Belgium after a job in London.
Outside of their normal environments, the duo get mixed up in problems involving the locals, tourists and a film shoot and find their perspectives on life and death shifting.
'In Bruges' begins shooting in Bruges next month.
