'Emmerdale' star Verity Rushworth has become the latest contestant to be voted off the reality singing show 'Soapstar Superstar'.
She had been criticised by judge Billy Sammeth, who said: "Being charitable, that was terrible. It’s a miracle you’re still on stage."
When she was voted off the show, she responded to his comments, saying: "I’m relieved I don’t have to listen to Billy again."
Later in the show the evicted soapstar was given the chance to save one of the other contestants from the public vote, guaranteeing them a place in the next night's show.
Verity chose to save Hayley Tamaddon, who stars alongside her in 'Emmerdale'.
Later it was revealed that 'Hollyoaks: In The City' stars Leon Lopez and Gemma Atkinson would face the overnight public vote.
