'Emmerdale' star Matthew Wolfenden has been voted off 'Soapstar Superstar', despite being initially listed as one of the favourites to win the show.
The actor, who plays David Metcalfe in the soap, faced an overnight vote after being placed in the bottom two alongside 'Hollyoaks in the City' star Leon Lopez, also tipped to win the show.
At the beginning of last night's live show presenter Zoe Ball revealed that the public had chosen to save Leon, meaning that Matthew would be leaving the show.
Later in the show the evicted soapstar was given the chance to save one of the other contestants from the public vote, guaranteeing them a place in the next night's show.
Matthew chose to save Leon, who had faced that public vote with him the night before.
It was later revealed that the two soapstars who are facing the next public vote are 'Coronation Street' star Tupele Dorgu and 'Emmerdale' star Verity Rushworth.
Former 'EastEnders' star Elaine Lordan and 'Coronation Street' star Jane Danson have already been voted off the show.
