Nicole Kidman is to star in and produce the film adaptation of David Lindsay-Abaire's Broadway play 'Rabbit Hole'.
Variety reports that the film tells the story of a happily married couple whose lives are thrown into turmoil after a tragedy.
The Broadway play starred Cynthia Nixon, who won a Tony award for her performance.
Kidman will produce the film through her company, Blossom Films.
Playwright Lindsay-Abaire will adapt his work for the screen.
