The cast of medical drama series 'Grey's Anatomy' have been named the Top Entertainers of 2006 by the US magazine Entertainment Weekly.
Entertainment Weekly said the reason for its choice was that the cast had a cultural impact beyond the hit show.
Commenting, Entertainment Weekly Executive Editor Lori Majewski said: "'Grey's...' isn't just a show, it's a phenomenon."
She continued: "Back in May when last season's final show aired, every place in New York City was empty. You could get a table at the best restaurants."
