The Black Eyed Peas have revealed that they are hard at work on the follow-up to their multi-million-selling 2005 album 'Elephunk'.
Speaking to Billboard.com, frontman will.i.am said: "We have 12 songs and we'll probably do another 30 or 40 songs."
When asked about the album's direction, the singer said that while it was "still a fun record" the songs also dealt with social and political themes.
The Black Eyed Peas have been recording songs while touring and plan to release the album in the last quarter of 2007.
