Legendary rock bands The Doors and The Grateful Dead as well as folk singer Joan Baez are among the artists that will receive lifetime achievement Grammy Awards next year.
Others that will be honoured include jazz saxophone player Ornette Coleman, late opera singer Maria Callas, soul musicians Booker T & the MG's, and late country music icon Bob Wills.
The awards will be given out during a ceremony leading up to the main Grammy Awards, which will take place in Los Angeles in February.
