Brittany Murphy is in talks to star in an adaptation of the DM Thomas novel 'The White Hotel'.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the film tells the story of an opera singer who attends Sigmund Freud in post-World War One Vienna.
Haunted by dreams about a white hotel, the woman works with Freud on unlocking her memories and premonitions.
The film is scheduled to shoot in Vienna and Prague in the spring.
