Model Linda Lusardi is joining the cast of 'Emmerdale' as part of a dramatic new storyline.
The 48-year-old actress will play Carrie Nicholls, who turns up at Tom King's funeral with her teenage daughter Scarlet, who is Tom's daughter.
Speaking about her role, Lusardi said: "I'm thrilled to be joining such a popular show and can't wait to start filming in January."
"I'm really excited about the character as it sounds like she's going to be brilliant fun to play!"
Series producer Kathleen Beedles said: "We're absolutely delighted to welcome Linda to the cast."
