Leona Lewis and Ray Quinn are through to the final of the current series of 'The X Factor', after Ben Mills was eliminated at the weekend.

Ben lost out on the public vote on Saturday night after his performances of 'Everything I Do' and 'Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For'.

Speaking after the result of the vote was announced, Ben said: "I've done well. I'm proud of myself."

Speaking about how his fellow contestants broke down after their performances, Ben said: "I joked about the tears a little bit - I said 'I didn't cry, that was the problem'."

"I think I probably wouldn't have got through the song if I'd have started crying. The thing is, when I cry, I really cry. I can't have a couple of tears and walk away. If I cry, that's me gone - on the floor, tissues everywhere," he said.

When asked if he thought the tears shed by the others were real, he said: "Yes, the tears were genuine. It was an emotional song. We've come this far and anyone at this stage in the competition is going to be emotional."

Speaking about getting through to the final, Leona said: "It's unbelievable, I can't believe it."

Ray said: "I just can't believe it, I'm stunned, I'm absolutely stunned. Thank you so much to anybody out there who supported me, it's such an honour."
