R&B singer Mary J Blige dominated this year's Billboard Music Awards, winning a total of nine prizes.
Other winners at the ceremony, which took place in Las Vegas on Monday, included 'American Idol' winner Carrie Underwood, who won five awards, as did Atlanta rapper TI.
17-year-old R&B singer Chris Brown took home New Artist of the Year, Male Artist of the Year and Artist of the Year awards.
Three other acts also took three awards: R&B singer Rihanna and rock bands Nickelback and the Fray.
Crooner Tony Bennett received the Billboard Century Award for lifetime achievement.
