Eton Road have become the latest act to be voted off 'The X Factor' but their dream of recording their own album is still alive after judge Louis Walsh promised to help them get a deal.

The four-piece lost out on the public vote on Saturday night after their performances of 'Can You Feel The Love Tonight?' and 'Everybody Needs Somebody to Love'.

However, Walsh, who was mentoring the group throughout the show, said: "I am going to get these guys a recording deal."

Group member James Edwards said afterwards: "It's the first we heard about it last night. It's amazing; we're over the moon."

Fellow Eton Road member Anthony Hannah said: "Our expectations are a lot bigger after what Louis said about the record deal."

"We're just so happy. We would have gone out on a high anyway because we really loved last night's songs, but for Louis to make that comment was just the icing on the cake"

"Louis is a fantastic manager. If you look at all the success of Westlife and Girls Aloud, I think we're in really good hands," he said.
