Illusionist David Blaine has ended his latest stunt after escaping from shackles in a gyroscope suspended 50ft above Times Square in New York.
The stuntman managed to free himself from the shackles and leap towards a plywood stage underneath, crashing through the stage.
Blaine had spent two days in the gyroscope ahead of his escape bid and promoters of the event had given him 16 hours to try to break free from his shackles.
However, he managed to achieve the feat about half an hour after being given the go-ahead to try to escape.
He said afterwards: "It's actually harder than I thought it would be." He later appeared to be able to walk but seemed disoriented.
