'The Devil Wears Prada' star Anne Hathaway is joining Steve Carell in the big screen version of 1960s TV favourite 'Get Smart'.
Variety reports that Hathaway will play the Agent 99 role originally played by Barbara Feldon on TV, with Carell playing the Maxwell Smart role which was made famous by Don Adams.
The film is due to begin shooting in March and will be directed by Peter Segal, whose credits include the Adam Sandler-starring 'The Longest Yard', '50 First Dates' and 'Anger Management'.
