Jennifer Lopez is to executive produce a new legal drama series which is tentatively titled 'Brethren'.
Variety reports that the series follows a former gang member who has become a defence attorney and faces the possibility of life in prison if he is ever convicted of another crime.
In the series, which is based on a true story, the central character must deal with police officers who think he is corrupt and clients who think he can be corrupted.
Lopez will executive produce the series through her company Nuyorican Productions.
