'EastEnders' star Barbara Windsor has been injured while filming on location, a BBC spokesperson has confirmed.
The 69-year-old actress, who plays Peggy Mitchell, sprained her ankle and fractured her wrist when she fell while filming for the soap.
A statement from the BBC said: "She is in a splint for the next couple of weeks and the surgeon will then decide whether she needs to wear a cast for six weeks. She is currently not filming."
