Former newsreader Jan Leeming has completed the first bushtucker trial in the new series of 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here'.
Jan volunteered to do the task after the celebrities were told that they would be allowed to nominate someone to attempt the first trial.
She chose DJ Toby Anstis to join her in the trial, which involved being lowered down a dark mine shaft and searching in tunnels for hidden stars. The tunnels also contained snakes, rats, toads and insects.
Jan, who had eagerly volunteered for the challenge, said before entering the mine shaft: "I'm not happy about going ahead".
She managed to retrieve the first two stars but abandoned the tunnels which were filled with rats and snakes.
Jan eventually managed to grab three stars before opting out of the trial, but she dropped one of the stars down the mine shaft, which meant that she only earned two meals for camp that night.
Meanwhile, David Gest has been chosen by the public to complete the next bushtucker trial.
Pop singer Jason Donovan remains favourite to win the show.
