'24' creators Joel Surnow and Bob Cochran are bringing a new medical comedy series, 'The Call', to TV screens.
The Hollywood Reporter says that 'The Call' follows two paramedics, best friends who complicate each other's lives.
The series is said to be in the vein of 'M*A*S*H' and each episode will be a self-contained storyline.
Commenting on the show, its writer, Dave Hemingson, said: "We will be toggling between tones and will hopefully create something that is compelling and humorous."
