Supermodel Elle MacPherson has reportedly fought off a mugger, who attempted to steal her handbag as she walked into a charity event in London.
According to reports, the model was crossing the road on her way to the Move For AIDS VIP charity function on Tuesday night when a hooded man approached her and tried to pull her handbag from her.
An onlooker told the Daily Star: "We all just looked in horror as we saw a figure in a hoody come out of the shadows."
"But as soon as he grabbed for Elle's bag, she swung around quite calmly, just went for his arm and got her bag... it looked so simple."
Meanwhile, the model has dismissed rumours that she is romantically involved with 'Strictly Come Dancing' star Ray Fearon, saying that they are "strictly friends".
