'Lost' star Michelle Rodriguez has joined the cast of 'Battle in Seattle', the directorial debut of Irish actor Stuart Townsend.
The film takes place around the riots during the World Trade Organisation's meeting in Seattle, Washington in 1999.
Production Weekly reports that principal photography on the film begins on Monday 6 November in locations around Vancouver, British Columbia and Seattle.
Townsend also wrote the script for the film, which Production Weekly says will be "documentary-style" in structure and will focus on a dozen characters.
