Opera star Russell Watson has been forced to postpone his upcoming tour as he recovers from emergency surgery to remove a brain tumour.
A spokesperson for Watson said: "The singer has been advised by specialists not to undertake the heavy schedule and to continue to rest until he has completely recovered from the surgery."
"Russell continues to have weekly check-ups and is recovering slowly, and he is looking forward to performing for his fans again very soon."
According to reports, surgeons removed an 8cm benign tumour from the singer's brain during a five-hour operation last month.
