Former 'X Factor' hopeful Dionne Mitchell has hit out at Simon Cowell after her elimination from the show last weekend.
Dionne left the show as part of a shock double-elimination, which also saw Kerry McGregor being voted off the show.
At a press conference after her eviction from the show, Dionne said: "I felt that Simon's comments were a personal attack against me."
"I have always held Simon Cowell in great esteem. But last night shattered every illusion that I had of him."
"I didn't come on this show to be a backing singer," she said in response to Cowell's claims she should be singing back-up vocals.
Fellow contestant Kerry said: "When Louis said I had peaked, I really knew he was wrong. I think last night's performance was one of my best on 'The X Factor' so far - but people have not heard me at my peak yet."
