Charlize Theron is to star opposite Dennis Hopper, Woody Harrelson and Nick Stahl in a new drama called 'Ferris Wheel'.
The film tells the story of an 11-year-old girl who must come to terms with being abandoned by her mother.
Variety says Theron will also produce the film through her company, Denver and Delilah.
Shooting is due to begin in Canada in November.
