'Deadwood' star Powers Boothe is joining the cast of '24' for the sixth series of the hit thriller show.
Variety reports that Boothe will play US Vice President Noah Daniels in the sixth series.
Boothe's film credits include 'Sin City', 'Frailty', 'U Turn' and 'Southern Comfort'.
The new series of '24' begins on US television in January and will be shown on RTÉ Television later in the New Year.
