'Class of 3000', a new cartoon co-created by and featuring the voice of OutKast rapper Andre 'Andre 3000' Benjamin, is to premiere on US television on 3 November.
MTV reports that the Cartoon Network show follows Sunny Bridges (Benjamin), a famous musician who returns to his former school in Atlanta to teach music class.
Benjamin wrote the theme song for the series and will write an original song for each of the 14 episodes of the first season; it is likely that his partner in OutKast, Antwan 'Big Boi' Patton, will also become involved.
The show is loosely based on Benjamin's own experiences in his Atlanta hometown.
