'X Factor' singer Brian MacDonald, who competes as part of the MacDonald Brothers, was taken to hospital after picking up an injury while playing football.
According to the show's official website, the Scottish singer was hurt during a five-a-side football game. He had previously been badly bruised during a match.
In the latest football accident, the singer was rushed to hospital for x-rays after it was suspected that he had broken his foot. However, tests revealed that the injury was not serious.
Producers of the show were concerned that The MacDonald Brothers would not now have enough time to rehearse before tomorrow night's live show.
