Hugh Jackman is involved in a new TV series in the US which will be based on the BBC miniseries 'Viva Blackpool'.
The Hollywood Reporter says the series tells the story of a budget casino owner who dreams of opening a huge resort on the Las Vegas strip.
Like the BBC miniseries, the US version will combine drama with song-and-dance routines by the cast.
Jackman is set to guest star in the pilot episode of the series and is expected to serve as executive producer on the US version.
