Halle Berry is to star in a new film called 'Top of the Class'.
Variety reports that the film is based on the true story of Tierney Cahill, a teacher from Nevada who was challenged by her students to run for Congress in 2000 and agreed – on condition that the class ran her election campaign.
Cahill lost out in her Congress bid, but did receive 35% of the popular vote.
'Top of the Class' is due to begin shooting next May or June.
