Actor Matthew Wolfenden is reportedly set to join the cast of 'Emmerdale', as Eric Pollard's long-lost son.
According to Digital Spy, the 26-year-old actor will play David Metcalfe, who arrives in the Dales while searching for his father.
When he finds out that Eric Pollard is his father he decides not to reveal the truth and instead goes to work for Pollard at his factory.
Speaking about his new role, Wolfenden said: "I'm thrilled to be joining the cast of 'Emmerdale' as David Metcalfe. David is a great character and I can't wait to see what's in store for him."
