Former 'Dream Team' star Alison King is reportedly set to join the cast of 'Coronation Street' before the end of the year.
According to Digital Spy, King, who played Linda Block in 'Dream Team', will play Carla, the wife of newcomer Paul Connor (played by Sean Gallagher).
Carla reportedly sees the Underworld factory as her chance to realise her dreams of designing a range of children's clothes.
According to the reports, a 'Coronation Street' spokesperson said that she "sees her hubby's investment in Underworld as a way of getting her business off the ground, introducing a new level of gritty intrigue and spice to the factory."
King is due to appear in the show in December.
