Will Ferrell's production company, Gary Sanchez Productions, has inked a deal with US cable network HBO for a new single-camera comedy series called 'P.E.'.
The Hollywood Reporter says the series tells the story of a man who fails to make the grade as a major league baseball pitcher and returns to his hometown in the South to teach physical education in his old school and repair the bridges he burned.
Ferrell formed Gary Sanchez Productions with Adam McKay, the writer-director who worked with him on 'Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy' and his latest film, 'Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby'.
