Pre-production has begun on 'The Dirt', the film adaptation of the bestselling and infamous Motley Crue biography of the same name.
Production Weekly reports that Larry Charles, the director of the upcoming comedy 'Borat', will be behind the lens for the film.
Published in 2001 and written by Motley Crue and journalist Neil Strauss, 'The Dirt' chronicles Motley Crue's journey from club band to stadium giants and the chaos which ensued at every opportunity.
'The Dirt' will shoot in Los Angeles; 'Borat' is released in Irish cinemas on 3 November.
