Oscar winner Rachel Weisz is to star opposite Dennis Quaid and Thomas Haden Church in a new drama-comedy called 'Smart People'.
The Hollywood Reporter says the film tells the story of a recently widowed professor (Quaid) who faces dilemmas in his life involving a woman (Weisz), his career and his adopted brother (Church).
'Smart People' marks the feature directing debut of award-winning ad director Noam Murro.
The film is due to begin shooting on 6 November in Pittsburgh.
