David Beckham has reportedly ended months of speculation that his wife Victoria is pregnant, by claiming that the rumour was sparked after he misunderstood a Spanish journalist.
When Beckham, who has lived in Madrid for three years, was asked by a Spanish television reporter whether it was true he was to be a father again, he smiled broadly and replied "yes" without hesitation.
The journalist continued the line of questioning, asking if he was happy about the news, to which he again replied "si".
However the couple's representatives quickly denied the reports claiming that despite David's apparent understanding of the questions, he had in fact completely misunderstood the questions.
The representative declared Posh most definitely is not pregnant and that she is far too busy for another child at the moment.
