'Scrubs' star John C McGinley has revealed that he is now engaged to his yoga-teacher girlfriend Nichole Kessler.
According to People magazine, McGinley, who plays Dr Perry Cox in 'Scrubs', proposed to Kessler in Malibu.
The actor said: "I told her, 'Sit down here to see the view of the ocean' – we live in a bird sanctuary – and I said, 'Will you marry me?' and I took out the rock."
His bride-to-be said: "I instantly said yes. And then I think I was speechless for about five minutes after John told me what the diamonds meant. I was just in tears and just beside myself. I'm still beside myself."
The couple said that they had not yet decided on a wedding date.
