Ken Loach's Irish Civil War drama 'The Wind that Shakes the Barley' has secured US distribution.
The Hollywood Reporter says that IFC Entertainment has acquired all US distribution rights for the Palme d'Or-winning film.
The Irish box office hit will be released simultaneously in cinemas and through video-on-demand on cable channels in the US next spring.
The trade daily also reports that an advance one-week cinema release for 'The Wind that Shakes the Barley', which would mean it would qualify for next year's Oscars, is being discussed.
