A new boxing film starring Michael Madsen, Vinnie Jones and Richard Chamberlain is to shoot in Cork next month.
Production Weekly reports that 'Strength and Honour' is set in Cork and tells the story of a boxer, Sean Kelleher (Madsen), who promises his dying wife he will never box again after taking the life of his friend in the ring.
But he is forced to go back on his promise in order to raise money for his ill son, who is suffering from the same condition as his late wife.
Chamberlain will play Madsen's character's boxing coach while Jones will play rival fighter Smasher O'Driscoll.
Mark Mahon will make his directorial debut on the film.
