Actress Kate Ford is set to leave 'Coronation Street' in the coming months after deciding not to sign a new contract with the soap.
According to ITV, Ford, who plays the scheming Tracy Barlow in the show, will not be killed off when she leaves in dramatic circumstances.
The 27-year-old actress reportedly said that she wants to pursue new projects outside of the show.
During her time in 'Coronation Street' Ford has been involved in a range of controversial storylines, including one which saw Tracy try to sell her baby daughter to the Croppers.
