David Hasselhoff's spokesperson has denied tabloid reports that the star was banned from a British Airways flight yesterday due to being intoxicated.

The actor's spokesperson, Judy Katz, said that Hasselhoff had not been stopped from boarding the early-morning flight but had instead chosen himself to take a later flight because he was feeling unwell.

Katz explained that the former 'Baywatch' star had been sick as a result of medication that he was taking after a shaving accident. She said that a cut on the actor's arm had become infected recently.

"We took him to a doctor, who gave him some antibiotics," she said. "He took them yesterday and then felt sick, so he opted to take a later flight."

"He was not refused boarding. It was his own decision not to get on that plane. He was not drunk," the spokesperson said.
